Happy 2015, guys!
I ended 2014 with a vow to be more consistent with the blog. In fact, I even took off from work on New Year’s Eve with the intention of spending the entire day in the kitchen, recipe developing, cooking, and photographing for you all.
My first dish would be a Paleo burrito bowl over a bed of cauliflower “rice.” I started the process, as every good cook does, by washing my produce. Well, long story short, what began as me rinsing off my cauliflower with my sink sprayer ended up as me standing in my kitchen, pajamas soaked, standing in 2-3 inches of water. New year, new carpet?
So… Instead of sharing a recipe with you guys today, I’ll share some other cool stuff that’s been happening in the beginning of 2015!
I had my first live TV appearance on KPRC-Ch. 2 in Houston, talking about Snap Kitchen’s delicious winter menu items as fuel for your New Year’s resolutions!
Snap was featured in a beautiful article in the January 2015 issue of Houstonia magazine by the lovely Katharine Shilcutt about her experience doing one of our 21 Day Commit programs. Do you guys see that? She called me perky! This calls for exclamation points!!!
Lastly, I got to share “My Top 5″ on 365thingsinhouston.com.
So far, 2015 isn’t looking too shabby. But when your 2014 ends in a flooded apartment, I suppose things can only go up from there!
